The history of Hotel Sumratin dates back to the early 1910s when it was originally named Hotel Sumartin, after the nearby St. Martin’s Church, a landmark that has defined the area since the Middle Ages. Over time, Hotel Sumratin has become an iconic name for the locals in Dubrovnik, and to honor its legacy we decided that it would only be appropriate for its name to live on amongst all of us.
Our logo, designed to resemble a wax seal, symbolizes both tradition and the bespoke approach that our guests value. The design subtly incorporates a depiction of Dubrovnik, with elements fading to represent the passage of time and the continuity of tradition.
